You want me to attend a lecture? For fun?

Yup! You have to present a lecture as well. You can cover any topic of your choosing, such as:

• Why Colleen Hoover Novels are Postmodern Literature
• The Relationships of Sex and the City Ranked from Worst to Best
• Polyamory in the Mario Bros. Extended Universe
• Why is Hummus?: A History of Mediterranean Food

You get the idea. Dropout has a few fun examples of what your presentation could look like!

Are there any requirements?

There is only one requirement: you must present a PowerPoint. Otherwise, do whatever you want. Cite sources! Or don't. Do as much or as little research as you choose. Add memes! Use tweets as primary sources! The world is truly your oyster.

Let me know if you can make it and whether you are bringing a plus one (make sure to direct said plus one to this site)! Once you have RSVP'd, please email me your presentation at 365partygirl.sabbatical@gmail.com by 2:00 PM on April 11, 2025. This will give me a chance to do some tech troubleshooting before the event.

Note: If you are coming as someone's plus one, you cannot invite additional guests.

Will there be food?

I will provide light refreshments and wine. Please bring something to share as well!

Why did you need a website to tell me this?

After the party, I will upload all the presentations here to commemorate the event. I will remove all sensitive personal information first, so please keep that in mind if your presentation heavily features things like full names (of non-public figures), phone numbers, links to personal social media accounts,etc. Reach out to me if you want more information about that process!
